Životopis

Ashfaque Ahmed Jhatial comes from Pakistan and is employed as an assistant in the Department of Materials by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, Croatia. He holds a PhD in durability from alkaline-activated material structures in combined environmental actions , which is one of the topics of Marie Sklodowska-Curie's ITN research project. DuRSAAM. The goal is to simulate the degradation process in AAMs under the combined effect of at least two environmental or mechanical actions. Simulations and experiments will consider the effect of collecting, thawing, thawing, transporting carbonates and chlorides separately and together, together with mechanical loading.

Gospodin Jhatial sudjelovao je i još uvijek sudjeluje na brojnim konferencijama i radionicama o toj temi. Magistri građevinarstva (istraživanja) stekao je s Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malezija, Malezija. Njegova istraživačka tema bila je Ispitivanje betona zelenog pjena koji sadrži pepeo i gorivo pepela kao zamjena djelomičnog cementa. Također je stekao postdiplomsku diplomu građevinarstva i diplomirao građevinsko inženjerstvo na Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan.

Posljednjih nekoliko godina gospodin Jhatial je obavljao dužnost inženjera laboratorija (Laboratorijski predavač) na Department of Civil Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, SZAB Campus, Pakistan, gdje su njegove odgovornosti gdje demonstrirati laboratorijske eksperimente i predavati teorijsku predmeta preddiplomskim i postdiplomskim studentima mehanike tekućina, primijenjene hidraulike, navodnjavanja, hidrologije, inženjerske mehanike, građevinskih materijala i izmjere. Također je suvodio 2 studenta prvostupnika.
