Biography

Kiran Ram Porikam Poil is a doctoral student at department of materials and he is working on ADVANCED LOW CO2 CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS(ACT) project funded by CSF and SNSF. He has completed his master’s in construction technology and management from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, India. His master’s thesis focused on the effect of different types of binders on corrosion resistance and bond strength. After his post-graduation, he joined as research assistant at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. There, he has involved several projects related to construction materials and different projects related to corrosion of steel in different binder system.
