We are pleased to announce the first call for papers for the upcoming International Conference on Applied Coastal Research (SCACR 2025) , a conference for professionals, researchers and academics in the fields of coastal engineering, wave mechanics, beach management, climate change, and much more. The conference will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from September 24–26, 2025. The deadline for abstract submissions is February 16, 2025.
The Fourth GRADify Job Fair was held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in the atrium of the Temporary Teaching Center AGG FSB, in Žitnjak. The GRADify Job Fair is an event organized by the Career Center of the Faculty of Civil Engineering with the goal of introducing employers and connecting them with students, as well as providing students with information about internship opportunities and future employment. A total of 27 employers will present themselves to students at information counters and through panel discussions. This year's novelty is the career speed meeting, a combination of job interviews and speed dating. The fair was held as a half-day event with accompanying entertaining and educational content. The program was scheduled to run from 1 PM to 6 PM, followed by a relaxed social gathering with a DJ.
University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering  and the  Croatian Association for Fire Protection (HUZOP)  organized the  4th international conference EU Fire Safety Day  which was held on 21 and 22 May 2024 at the Westin Hotel, Zagreb, Croatia. The main goal of this conference is to draw the attention of international experts and stakeholders, as well as decision-makers, to an unprecedented transformation of Europe's building stock due to increased electrification, including rooftop PV panel technology, recharging infrastructure in buildings, and batteries in cars. On April 9, 2024, the final conference of the BLOOM project titled "Circular Economy in Construction" was held at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Thank you to all construction entrepreneurs, partners, and colleagues for supporting the BLOOM project, co-financed by Innovation Norway Grants!
The ceremonial session marking the 105th anniversary of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering was held on February 21, 2024, in the main hall of the Regional Center for Entrepreneurial Competitiveness Development for Southeast European Countries (SEECEL), where the University of Zagreb is temporarily located.  
Due to the renovation of the Faculty of Architecture-Civil Engineering-Geodesy building at Kačićeva 26, Zagreb, University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering, has been operating at a temporary address, Kranjčevićeva 2, 10 000 Zagreb, P.O. box 217, since March 13, 2023 (the address Fra Andrije Kačića Miošića 26 is also registered to this P.O. box).
