Dear students,

I understand your deep fascination with legendary projects such as Sydney Opera House. However, pay attention that the same themes should be avoided in future. Viktorija’s PPT on Sydney is magnificently done, and I really enjoyed it.

The words every student should master are:

stakeholder vs.shareholder

Affect (verb)vs effect

The meaning of executing in C.E.: to execute a plan, construction project, program…..

Make sentences with affect, effect,stakeholder vs. shareholder, so that the meaning is visible:Hrvoje

Have a close look at Doris’ and Viktorija’s PPTs, and send me a few sentences about the difference in them: Magdalena.

To finish the Lesson V, two last exercises should be done. Send them Lucija to me.

The task in Work and Fun was about JOKES. I know it was not easy to thing of humorous solutions. The following one proved to be specially difficult. The right answer should be smth as:

The primary function of the design engineer is to MAKE THINGS DIFFICULT for the fabricator and impossible for the serviceman.
