Documented investigations and existing models from the completed CRISAFE project provide a basis for 4G-MONITOR. New geotechnical investigations and the development or updating of models are planned for subsequent project stages. Development of a device combining tilt, vibration and seismic response monitoring, together with its web interface, is ongoing.
Meho Saša Kovačević gave a presentation entitled “From monitoring to early warning: development of a 3-in-1 device for geotechnical structures” (English translation of the Croatian title). The presentation addressed the development approach to integrating measurements and data interpretation for geotechnical monitoring.
The project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the institutional research project programme of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Civil Engineering, under the Projects for Enhancing Scientific Excellence funding line.
