Activity of the Chair for Metal Structures in Standardization

Staff of the Chair for Metal Structures are extremely active in standardization at the European and national level. In addition to active memberships in technical committees, they also perform a number of leading functions in standardization and participate in the role of experts in the accreditation procedures of certification bodies for metal and related construction products.

In the period 2015-2018, Assoc. Prof. Davor Skejić, PhD. was a member of the international project team for the development of Structural Eurocodes (SC9.T1) for the phase 1 of the mandate M/515: Aluminium - Updating and simplification of all parts of the EN 1999.

Since 2010, Prof. Davor Skejić, PhD. performs the function of the president of the technical subcommittee HZN/TO 548/PO 9: Design of aluminium structures, and in the period 2015-2017 he was the leader of the working group for aluminium structures in the Expert Commission for drafting the Technical Regulation for Building Structures.

Since 2021, Prof. Davor Skejić, PhD. performs the function of the president of the technical subcommittee HZN/TO 548/PO 3: Design of steel structures.
