LWT-FLOOR Research Presented at EUROSTEEL 2026

The LWT-FLOOR research group presented two papers at the 11th European Conference on Steel and Composite Structures (EUROSTEEL 2026), held in Kraków, Poland, from 16 to 18 September 2026:

1. Push-out tests of innovative shear connection in CFS-concrete beams with corrugated web (Ivan Lukačević, Ivan Ćurković, Andrea Rajić, Vlaho Žuvelek, Marko Bartolac), presented by Associate Professor Ivan Lukačević.

2. Cold-formed Steel-Concrete Composite Beams with corrugated web in bending – Finite element approach (Andrea Rajić, Ivan Lukačević, Ivan Ćurković), presented by Andrea Rajić.

In addition to the LWT-FLOOR research, two other papers co-authored by members of the research group were presented:

3. Influence of Geometric and Material Parameters on the Behaviour of Steel and Composite Plate Shear Walls (Ivan Ćurković, Davor Skejić, Ivan Lukačević), presented by Associate Professor Ivan Ćurković.

4. Experimental Study of Imperfections in Longitudinally Welded AW-5083-H321 Aluminium Alloy Members (Ivan Čudina, Ivica Garašić, Ivan Lukačević, Davor Skejić, Mislav Štefok, Anđelo Valčić), presented by Anđelo Valčić.

Furthermore, Associate Professors Ivan Lukačević and Ivan Ćurković served as session co-chairs. Ivan Lukačević co-chaired the session Steel-concrete composite structures with Markku Heinisuo, while Ivan Ćurković co-chaired the session Bolted joints and connections with Kamila Cabova.

The conference was organised by Cracow University of Technology and Rzeszów University of Technology, in cooperation with the European Convention for Constructional Steelwork (ECCS).
