Department for Organization and Economics in Construction is a established research center in area of project management, risk management, economics in construction industry, construction law, human resource in project business and construction technology. Staff, consisting of eight faculty and aditional auxiliary staff, conduct research funded by croatian or european funding agencies.

Faculty reports respective research results in scientific journals or in academic conferences. In line with the above, Department for Organization and Economics in Construction held biennial academic conference called OTMC-Organization, Technology and Management in Construction. Aim of this conference is to act as a platform for scientific and professional dialogue in construction industry in Croatia and Central and Easter Europe. Further, since 2009, Department publishes international peer-reviewed scientific journal OTMCJ that promotes and facilitates the development of organization, technology and management in construction, within the regions of Central and Southeast Europe.
