Here are some useful information on how to reach Dubrovnik.

BY PLANE

As Dubrovnik is the most southern city in Croatia, the most practical way to reach it is to do so by plane, especially as there’s a very good frequency of flights during the summer and early autumn months.

For October 2015 you can check Airport Dubrovnik (Cilipi) searchable schedule or Croatia airlines schedule. International companies that fly to Dubrovnik directly:

Croatia Airlines have several daily flights a week from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. If you can’t find a suitable flight direct to Dubrovnik, see if you can fly/travel to Zagreb and then get a Croatia Airlines flight from there.

You can also consider Split, Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) or Tivat (Montenegro) airport. Approximate distances between mentioned cities  and Dubrovnik are:

  • Zagreb-Dubrovnik: 600 km
  • Split-Dubrovnik: 200 km
  • Mostar-Dubrovnik: 140 km
  • Tivat-Dubrovnik: 100 km

Transfer from airport

Dubrovnik Airport Cilipi is located 22 km from the City. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the Conference venue. You can take a bus from the airport to the City (Central bus station). The buses leave the airport after every landing (Airport Transportation). You can buy the ticket on the bus (one-way ticket is 5 EUR). From the Central bus station you can take a local bus (bus line number 6) or a taxi to the Conference venue.
