In the first place, the department  deals with teaching  hydro engineering for civil engineers in the scope of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies. This process drives the Department to participate in country’s both major, but also smaller-scale undertakings related to hydro engineering. Its activities range from research investigations and studies to projects, revisions and expertises. Mathematical modelling in hydro engineering, laboratory experiments and field measurements play an important role.
