Quality Assurance Committee

The Committee for Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the Committee for Education, the Committee for Science and International Cooperation, the Quality Management Committee, and the Quality Management Office of the University of Zagreb, addresses issues related to the quality of teaching and scientific research at our faculty. In the field of quality assurance, we adhere to the Regulations on the Quality Assurance System at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, based on the Regulations on the Quality Assurance System at the University of Zagreb, and the Quality Assurance Manual, aligned with the University of Zagreb's Quality Assurance Manual.

The role of the Committee is to establish, maintain, and develop a quality management system, with tasks including monitoring and improving the quality of teaching and teacher competencies, assessing the quality of teachers, teaching content, and delivery of instruction, assessing and aligning procedures for assessing learning outcomes and competencies in individual subjects and study programs, monitoring, maintaining, and improving student standards, and monitoring, maintaining, and improving the quality of scientific research. Before the establishment of the Committee for Quality Assurance and Improvement, all the aforementioned issues related to the quality of teaching and scientific work were addressed by the Education Committee and the Science Committee, and they continue to successfully fulfill this task in collaboration with the Committee for Quality Assurance and Improvement.

For the successful functioning of the Committee for Quality Assurance and Improvement in the field of teaching, cooperation between students and their representatives in the work of the Faculty Council, the Education Committee, the Committee for Quality Assurance and Improvement, and, importantly, the Year Councils is essential.
