Marina Bagarić (nee Alagušić)  works as Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Materials, where she is also undergoing her PhD studies. Focus of her doctoral research is on hygrothermal performance of prefabricated heavyweight ventilated building envelope produced with recycled aggregate from construction and demolition waste. She has participated and still is participating in number of EU funded projects dealing with energy efficiency in buildings and building capacity of blue and white collar workers. Marina Bagarić, as part of expert team appointed by Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, is involved in Concerted Action EPBD IV project for implementation of EPBD directive in european countries. As a Teaching Assistant at Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb she is giving lectures on "Material Science" and "Building Science" in undergraduate study, while in graduate study she is teaching "Building Physics" course.
