The vision and mission of the Department of Materials at the Faculty of Civil Engineering are to promote quality and achieve its highest level in educational, scientific, and professional activities. Special attention is given to the intertwining and mutual complementation of the educational process with scientific research and professional work.
Within its teaching activities, the Department offers courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels, while actively fostering student involvement in scientific research. In addition to teaching, the staff of the Department of Materials also actively participate in numerous national and international scientific, professional, and European projects.
The framework of the educational process and scientific research at the department is the Laboratory of the Department of Materials.
